Escape Storeroom

This was a project I created for two friends in the storeroom of my apartment. The theme of the escape room was baking, so I decorated it with chocolates, cake recipes and other sweet stuff.

I gathered all my key and combination locks and used images, text and an audio cassette for providing clues. After the riddles and the order of which one to solve first to unlock further clues and new puzzles was set, I still had unused ideas. I integrated them into the escape room by also setting up some red herrings.

The puzzles included deciphering, Morse code, simple mathematics, common knowledge and a sense for music. My friends spent roughly 90 minutes in the escape room and had a lot of fun solving the puzzles while eating some of the edible decoration.
