Advent Calendar

Drawings, videos, short stories – I had quite a lot of digital files to gift to a friend on Christmas. So I decided to hand him one file each day by setting up a website styled as an advent calendar. He could click himself from day to day through the pages. There was only one problem: It’s very tempting to open all 24 doors at once.

Therefore I secured every page with a password. The clues he needed to find out the right password I hid somewhere on the current page – or even among the downloadable files. He needed to constantly think outside of the box as every day I challenged him with new riddles that needed a different approach to solve them. In the end I created an experience similar to Notpron.
